Nowadays, many people have lost connection with the essence of intentional travel. They tend to visit the most famous or Instagrammable locations. 

Caravan is a community of individuals seeking deeper meaning from travel. We provide opportunities for our members to visit a place, seek its stories with clarity, respect, and curiosity, and retell them, filtered through our own perspective, in our magazine. We hope to understand our place’s identity and values and, in the process, shape our own. Unfamiliar stories challenge our perspective of right and wrong, normal and abnormal, what can be talked about and what’s better left unsaid. At the end of a trip, we want to come back different.

We’ve now published twelve issues across seven years. As college students, we want to build on our identities and perspectives. In the best cases, Caravan has provided us with a purpose and community to guide our growth. It’s our goal that there will always be purpose and kindness sown into every page of the magazine, and that every member finds belonging in its making.
